Sitting here in the little alcove behind gate 55 in SYD Intl. at the moment and overheard staff from another airline commenting that a QF plane had been pushed back from the gate earlier this morning with one of the hold doors still open. Not sure which flight it was and if there was any major holdup.

Busy little place here. Flying on an NF ticket this morning so no lounge access and found this spot behind the gate with access to power next to a seat. Had about 10 QF staff come around the back for some sort of informal meeting and then had pics being taken. I ended up taking the main group pic for them. Their comment was that they love coming to work and do this all the time (a bit tongue in cheek on the all the time part).

Yes, I don't really have anything better to do here.....
