Hi All

Travelling Y+ Per to AKL then through to LAX in just under a fortnight

Have got some upgrade bids in the system so fingers crossed they come through - but just wanting to work out a Plan B

I can see that back in late 2012, Air NZ began selling passes at their lounges, is this still something they do? Or have they discontinued this offering?

Only needing it for Perth due to very short stopover in AKL

Unfortunately purchasing lounge access was stopped a while back. However, can’t hurt turning up on the day and trying your luck. Even though it’s not publicised, you may catch a lounge agent willing to allow paid access.

Discontinued due to overcrowding in the lounges. At AKL you could pay to enter Strata lounge (contract lounge) - discounted if paid in advance. Does PER (international terminal) have a contract lounge?

Nope. Air NZ, Alliance, Qantas, Singapore, and Virgin only.
