Just got a targeted offer from United Mileage Plus.

Ends 8th April. CDT.

Buy 4k-11k miles, save 20%
Buy 12k-24k miles, save 25%
Buy 25k or more miles, save 30%

Not as good as the regular 40% offers I think.


It seems the airlines are cutting back on the value, and seeing if people still bite.

Haven't ventured there yet, but I think my heart will skip a few beats, if I need to buy a pricey refundable ticket - to buy the miles, and then cancel ticket for a refund.
But I guess nothing technically wrong with it.
