Hi,
We are travelling on Singapore Airlines MLE-SIN-PER in a couple of months & chose the flight due to the really good transit connection in Singapore (about 2 hours).
They have now cancelled the SIN-PER flight so we are now arriving around 8pm one day & not leaving until around 9am the following day.
I rang Singapore Airlines to see if they would do something for us because we are now going to have to stay in a hotel overnight & they said they can't do this.
I even asked if they could just give us a small voucher to help pay for the unplanned hotel expense but they said they don't have any way of doing this.
Does anyone have any experience with this & tips on who we should contact & what we might expect?
We are on a Business Class award booking (and understand they must have a lot of these situations at the moment) so I wasn't expecting too much, but a bit disappointed at such a curt response.
Cheers,
Gary.
