got an email this morning.

I got that but also a few days ago the 15% of classic Y awards.
But as a PS I would get -

Sorry wont be taking these offers up.

It'd have to be status credits not points to do it for me. ;)
 
It's not the worst offer: most credit cards that have an initial points bonus of that amount have a minimum spend of roughly the ticket price. Of course, with those cards you can spent the money on anything and not just a flight.
