Problems Setting up HHonors complimentary status

I applied for the Hilton Status match last week. Logged into the HH website today only for it to display GOLD. I thought Velocity Platinum matches to HH Diamond?

Am i confused?

Well I got HH Diamond with DJ Plat. Am loving it, got upgraded yesterday at the BKK Conrad, a beautiful hotel.

I reckon DJ in the first instance because they introduced you to HH.

I agree with Hvr. Dj in the first instance, but you could also try HH direct as they are very helpful. HH number is 1-800-446-6677

The number on the back of my HH card lists 1-800-446-667...go figure

The one on the back of the card is a central number for both reservations and HH. The one on the web site goes directly to HH. (the last digit 7 must be an ext.)

1800 numbers can be 6 or seven digits, just like our old numbering schema!

I had a couple of beers last night after work, but I don't remember starting a new thread for this?

Anyway, I have PM'd Velocity Rewards and will see what they say. I am planning a couple of exciting rips this year so I would like the Diamond status.

Another question, I have already booked the Beverley Hilton for 4 nights in August, if I do finally get the Diamond status, will they recognise it or not, I had no HH status when I book fit?

Yes they will recognize it, it is based on your status when you stay, not when you book.

As for the Diamond, it's worth it, I have been upgraded every night except a new years eve night and that is to be expected. About 6 stays since August.
