Problems contacting Cathay Pacific

I seem to have an ongoing problem with my Cathay Pacific account but can't seem to be able to get through to the airline hence my query here.

The issue commenced on 1 June 2025 after I got the 48 hour email reminder from Cathay Pacific that check in was open for my flight cough-HKG-MEL.

Every effort I made using either the Cathay Pacific app or webpage prompted this message:

"Sorry, we are experiencing technical issues. Please try again later."

I made at least five further attempts and received the same message each time. I gave up and chose to check in at cough. That was a story in itself that I don't need to elaborate here.

Anyway, for the first time since returning to Melbourne, today I tried to access my account with the same results.

I then tried the chat function on the CX site and also WhatsApp - again with no success.

Then I called the CX listed Australian number - 131 467 - and got cut off because the system said I hadn't made a valid choice.

It would seem I have an ongoing issue with my account so I am looking for suggestions on how to contact Cathay Pacific given the problems I've experienced (and outlined above).

You might like to clean up you post to make it more readable using the edit button, you have repeated yourself! As far as I can tell there seems to be an account issue, suggest you use their chat function Cathay Pacific
 
I've contacted them a couple of times using the Line app (regarding a wrong name on a booking and a suspended account) and got quick and satisfactory responses.
