Just got off the phone with AA, had no touble reserving my tickets syd - per return. But they can't ticket them as the system will not allow them to book them as a e-ticket and they won't send paper tickets to australia. My fall back is sending the tickets to our USA office, but really don't want to do this. anyone have any ideas?

And why can they not issue as e-ticket? I had BNE-MEL-AKL return all issued as e-ticket. Just had to fax off the credit card authorisation form to have the payment processed.

they said the "system" would not allow them to e ticket

Call back and find someone who knows how to work the system better. Did you call AA in the USA or their local number that takes you to the foreign call centre? I used the USA number.

yep...found the right person and it worked. Also learned something when using your credi card over the ph. The system would not accept the australian address, untill she placed an "AU" in the state field which normally only accepts 2 character USA states, such as NY, MA etc

have my 2 economy return e-tickets for perth for 20k points and USD$70 in taxes charges...Total!!! so glad i ditched qantas

happy days
