American Airlines Announces PriorityAAccess(SM) Privileges

Dear NM,

As a valued AAdvantage Executive Platinum(R) member, we want to make sure you are aware of something new you'll notice on your boarding pass and on signs at the airport starting next week – PriorityAAccess(SM).

PriorityAAccess is the new name for a group of privileges and services available exclusively to our elite status AAdvantage(R) members and a select group of other top travelers. PriorityAAccess privileges include some of the benefits you've become accustomed to as an AAdvantage Executive Platinum member, plus one exciting new feature – PriorityAAccess boarding lanes at the gate.

What's new: PriorityAAccess boarding lanes

Now you can enjoy the convenience of boarding anytime via new dedicated boarding lanes. As always AAdvantage Executive Platinum members are among the first to board, but now if you arrive at the gate during general boarding, you can bypass the line by using the new PriorityAAccess lane. Just show your boarding pass and you will be on your way!

PriorityAAccess signs guide your way to other exclusive services

Special privileges like the option to check-in at First or Business Class counters and the use of exclusive security screening lanes where available continue to be part of your elite status benefits. Simply look for the new PriorityAAccess signs to locate dedicated check-in counters and security screening areas at airports around our system.

We hope the newly branded PriorityAAccess benefits – with distinctive signage and exclusive new boarding lanes at the gates – will help smooth your way through the airport. It's another way we are working to improve your airport experience.

Thank you for your business. We look forward to seeing you on board soon.

Sincerely,

Nice we obviously get that for int'l with QF and others - would be great to get it for domestic and CE on BA.

A positive improvement from with minimal cost - until the gate lice start complaining about it.

We are gold now but will be platinum for some domestic segments on the return portion of our Nov trip to the USA so will be nice to bypass the lines!

We also got that email as Gold members.
