PP have sent me a link to allow people to join up for 10% off (if also gets me a bottle of wine which from previous reports is rarely sent but I thought I would declare that anyway as a self interest item, its not the motivation for me publishing this)!

Simply forward this email to your friends and they will receive more than 10% off a Priority Privilege Membership – that’s a $30 saving off the regular retail price.
For only $259, they'll receive the same dining and travel benefits that you enjoy with your Priority Privilege membership.
Here's how it works in two easy steps:
1. Forward this email OR copy the link below and send it to a friend
2. Have them purchase a membership through your personalised referral link:

What our Members enjoy - Priority Privilege AUS NZ Fiji - Priority Privilege

Mods if this is not in the best interests of AFF please delete, I have posted it on the basis I believe the public gain outweighs the personal benefit derived but I will leave it up to you as to the final judgement.

Maybe I could go into competition and post my like as well :)

I have referred people in the past and got nothing from them, so I just started referring people to discount sign ups.

I thought as much, 10% discount is better than nothing and the real value is in the BOGO certs when coupled with the monthly specials.

Thought it was time for me to give PP a try, so signed up using your link.

Hopefully you receive your bottle of wine. If not - let me know and I'll provide further details about the referral.

Mal, watch for the monthly specials where you dont need to use the cert, I scored around 20 free nights in the last 12 months:

Priority Privilege You've arrived

Thanks Markis I also joined. I was thinking about it for a while and the 10% discount was the clincher I guess. Will try it for a year and see how it goes, most of my PC and IHC hotel group stays have been good thus far. I should also mention to them that I am an existing Gold PC member when they send all the guff !!!

Thanks again !

Thanks guys for the insights I am looking forward to a long and fruitful PP and PC membership, hell I might even pay the money and make myself an Ambass !!!!

... and for the new PP members, hotels frequently do not ask for the certificates.

Funny you should mention that, I ended up using only 1 of my 25% off and non of the three BOGOs I had, I felt guilty having them.

Which also reminds me of another point for anyone interested in joining.

About half of the certificates are transferable without any restrictions which makes them quite good value and very flexible when they are not collected. (They can be used several times by several people)

Thanks markis
I took advantage also of the 10% discount thread you posted
I hope you get something - I'm happy with the $$$ saved

Glad you took advantage of it, no wine yet LOL. As I said keep an eye out for the specials, used the 25% off no cert required on the weekend at HI BNE to make the trip to the Ekka more enjoyable - a bargain at $100 for the night!

Yes and made my first booking using the pay for one night, stay free for the next- can't remember what it is called
But booked exec floor in Newcastle for AFL grand final weekend
Hubby will be devastated if it is not aired but they assure me it will be

The exec floor in newcastle is average, with the drinks in the corridor area! Watch the parking, its steep, and dont forget you are entitled to take breakfast in the lounge or restaurant (one has a lot more choice)for no extra charge. If they have a BOGO monthly special come up, you can rebook to save the cert and cancel with no fees the original booking, it happens a lot to me.

I had to call the P/Priv hotline as my pack had not arrived, they assured me it was sent on 10th Aug, so will check the post in the coming days.

Your a good man Markis !!! We love our P/Priv mship !!!!

And who is a multinational IT provider hmmm ??? The only one I know is IBM, and from what I hear (I had some friends in NZ who said IBM was a good crowd) they are a good progressive outfit.

Dont worry about the wine, im sure it will turn up or ill shout you one at MJ's in the HI at Roma St !

Try a chip maker :) BTW the members drinks are back at the HI BNE for those staying every Wednesday night, 6-6.30, only half an hour but included spirits!!!!

I like eating chips ! :D

Ok forget the wine, lets go with the spirits..............

Also does the $50 hotel voucher they send have an expiry date? I am picking that you cant save these up for a family holiday to say Fiji and give them say 3 to put towards the bill ?

All the vouchers expire 12 months later.

Ok thanks I thought that was the case, in any case the M/ship will be great for my upcoming planned stays at CP CHCH at Christmas, CP Sunshine coast, Family trip to IC Fiji (hopefully in Exec area) next year, Uni graduation in Sydney in April 2010, Rubgy World Cup NZ Sept 2011 (this is first on the list lol).

As you can see I have alot planned, and my wife wants to build a house next year, shame about that LOL.

Thanks again I'm sure my P/Priv mship will more than pay for itself.

Best I get back to work .....
