Priority pass to open lounge at Heathrow T5

Just got an email announcing Prioritypass is opening a lounge at LHR T5. Is this the first non One World affiliated lounge to be established at the BA only terminal?

Yes it is and good news for those without One World status

I see it will be an Aspire brand lounge. I used one of these in March at BHD and it was actually pretty nice - muted decor, quiet areas and reasonable selection of F&B.

The only concern is the rather ambiguous statement that it is opening in the summer. Does anyone know of a firm date as a British "summer" may never happen.

At least it isn't opening 'for' the summer. That could be just two weeks every year.

It it is good news though. Hopefully it offers decent food and gives the BA lounges (even the CCR with its mediocre restaurant) a run for their money. Or as much as you can with a 'free' service anyway.
