Hey folks,

As part of my Vegas getaway, we are flying though LAX, arriving from LAS at 15:44, and departing again from LAX at 23:30.

Im a Priority Pass member and wish to spend my time at a lounge to unwind, however Im not looking to have any additional expenses as a result.

I was hoping someone might be able to help regarding the PP lounges, as to which one is the best, and more importantly has no surprises, like cash bars... etc.

US AIRWAYS CLUB
ALASKA AIRLINES BOARD ROOM
DELTA CROWN ROOM CLUB
CONTINENTAL PRESIDENTS CLUB
SKYTEAM KAL BUSINESS CLASS LOUNGE
RELAX LOUNGE

These are the participating lounges available, however the information ive seen on most arent particularly good on details.

We are departing from TBIT, would it be wise, to visit a lounge in T1 or any other terminal, and then walk to TBIT when the time comes or would it be too risky time-wise...?

On another note, we ALSO have QFClub complimentary passes, which we were planning to use at SYD international at the beginning of our trip... we cannot use the complimentary vouchers at LAX, because QF doenst have a true Qantas lounge there, sharing instead with AA, is this correct?

Many thanks :D

Your complimentary QP passes are good for the T4 Joint QF/AA QP/AC at LAX if you are travelling onward with QF.

IMHO, You're better off using them in SYD.

Without looking up the location of each of the lounges you mention, I would assume that they are all AFTER security screening in their respective terminals. At USA airports, only passengers holding a boarding pass for a departing flight from that terminal are allowed through security. So you cannot visit a lounge at any terminal other than the terminal from which you hold a boarding pass for a departing flight.

[note there are a few exceptions to this rule and I expect someone will chime in with those exceptions, but they are not going to help in this situation].

So unless there is a PP lounge at the terminal into which you will be arriving from LAS (if using AA then that is T4 and I don't believe there is a PP lounge at T4) or in the terminal from which you are departing (you mentioned TBIT) then you are out of luck.

Thanks guys, I hadnt even considered the security / boarding pass issue, so quite likely we would be restricted to either the RELAX lounge or KAL business lounge at TBIT... has anyone had any experiences with either?

Or similarly, any good experiences with the SYD international lounge? We have a 4hr stop at SYD, from 0615 to 1015. (I will do a search here for more info also)
