anyone had any experience at the Priority Pass Lounges in Athens airport- I think there are three of them-
one is names Swissport and seems quite nice
there are two others which look to be ok- are they worth the $$? as we have a long layover at the airport on our way out of Greece.

I have a free pass with my Citibank credit card, but the rest of the extended family (5 more family members) would all have to pay for entry.

we will already have spent 6 nights in Athens at the beginning of our trip, so, the need to leave the airport will probably not be as great.

Alternative ideas for a six hour transit would be so welcome.
thank you

I visited the "Melina Mercouri" lounge at ATH a couple of months ago and was quite unimpressed. It was breakfast time and all they had food wise was breads, crackers, sweet things and jams/spreads. Also juices, water, tea/coffee (but alcohol was also available). Free wifi was OK and there were a few English language newspapers, and the seating was fairly comfortable. But it was quite crowded and finding a decent seat was a bit of a challenge. If I had to pay I'd give it a miss.

thank you- so, it doesn't sound like worth the money for the others in our group
