Struggling to use your Frequent Flyer Points?

Frequent Flyer Concierge takes the hard work out of finding award availability and redeeming your frequent flyer or credit card points for flights.

Using their expert knowledge and specialised tools, the Frequent Flyer Concierge team at Frequent Flyer Concierge will help you book a great trip that maximises the value for your points.

Curse when you realise you've spent x months of mortgage payments on flights taking you to a far-flung airport only to turn around immediately, and you're away so much your family's forgotten what you look like.

Thank when you get the beep at the gate and the flight attendant in F smiles and asks which bubbly you care for before takeoff ;)
I agree with both comments. SC's have been our obsession for the past 12 months, but at least GPH and I have done it together. All self funded, and I no longer selfishly steal all of our combined points to take 2 or 3 RTW Classic Award trips in Y. Have not done the calculations but I can see from this thread that we are spending way more than others to get the SC's. There is much to learn and the volume of threads makes my brain ache!

Is there a thread somewhere to explain YUPP & KUPP? This is completely new to me and I thought I had all the information I needed:shock:

KUPP / YUPP are American Airlines "Instant Upgrade" fares. These are designated first class seats and earn status credits at the first class rate, even though the quality of seats and service is less than Qantas domestic business class. They can be a cheap way to obtain status credits. There are a number of threads on this, just search for KUPP or instant upgrade.

Thanks very much, ShaneN. I have been on a massive learning curve thanks to the AFF site and still find there is so much more. I hope to be in a position to help others once I completely understand what I am doing.

Thanks. In the US in a couple of months and still need to book some legs. This has been very interesting and useful

I have a screen shot of a AA SC run from a few days ago which I gave to another member, 720 SC for $682 US - less than 95 cents per SC.

Kempvet - I am off to the USA in 2 weeks time. I already have some SC runs planned, but one like this would be an absolute cracker. What have I gotta do to get some details out of u???
