Hi all,

I'm a QFF P1 thinking of switching loyalty programs to Kris Flyer PPS club and possibly reaching PPS Solitaire. I'd be interested in hearing any feedback PPS club/solitaire members have about the program. Would be even better to hear if any QFF P1s made the switch.

Thanks

I am in my 16th consecutive year of QF Plat, and my 3rd year of SQ PPS; a while back I decided to move a lot of my travel from QF to SQ out of dissatisfaction with the QF hard product.
The sad news is that PPS really doesn't get you much at all, compared with QF P; only a 25% points bonus (same as KF Silver!), no F lounge or checkin. The main tangible benefits for me are:
1) access to the front row seats in J
2) waitlisted award bookings usually confirm immediately
3) some Krisshop gift vouchers when you requalify (about SG$280 IIRC?)
4) some discounts at various places (must usefully 10% at SIN airport outlets)
5) so long as you stay PPS, your miles don't expire
Most of the other "benefits" are just things you get anyway if you are in J or F.
Solitaire does indeed get a lot more benefits (notably F lounge/checkin).
