Vue De Monde is a proper venue for a special occasion.

I was at Movida for lunch yesterday. Tapas style dishes where we all ate a bit of everything. That is the second time I have been there and I enjoyed the meal both times. Friendly serving staff also a big plus.

The best tapas in Melbourne IMO. Hard to get a seat for dinner, need to book in advance.

I haven't been there yet, but was surprised to find their recipe book on sale in the Prado in Madrid.
If you judge an ethnic restaurant by how many of that nationality eat there, this must say something.

You can also try Ezard or Taxi dining room. Both are suitable for a special occasion.
