Has anybody taken a portable fan (USB Clip on type) or similar on a plane before? I hate not having any airflow and get very hot. I was considering it but wasn't sure if permitted or not.

Any thoughts or experience?

Now that would be wonderful if we could.
I am so grateful menopause is but a long distance memory as those flights can certainly be warm

We bought a small portable fan USB chargeable in China. Travelled back home to Aus with it in carryon with Qantas Int/Dom with no problems. Our 4yo used it on the plane. No issues. Hope that helps.
