One of the things I liked was that the footpaths were clear of snow and ice.
I ventured into the cough Pub for one beer. I didn’t felt like any more.

It was time for dinner so I grabbed a takeaway pizza from Red D’Light, a Detroit veg option.
Tasted good and the last shots are from my hotel room window.
Headed off to sleep with the intent of getting out and about tomorrow.

Nice pix of Tromso...got a 3 day blizzard when I was there. Think I can recognize some things.
Did get the barest smudge of Northern Lights on last evening but.

They have a Brewery there too, spent an arvo there as my snow adventures were all cancelled.

I was up there for New Year and honestly, Tromso is the most beautiful place I’ve ever been. So pictureque and amazing. I’d love to go back in summer. I really recommend walking over the bridge to the Arctic Cathedral and then taking the cable car up. Such an awesome experience.

Well yesterday was one of the most stunning ‘seeing’ days I have ever experienced.
The cablecar and return bus shuttle cost about $100, but it was worth it.
Even just the walk to the bus stop was gorgeous.

My goodness it was cold up on the mountain. The wind chill was totally brutal. I reckon it wouldn’t have been less than -20 with it thrown in. But it was all so worth it.

I ended up buying a TIL shirt which is Tromso’s football team in the Norwegian competition.

And then I went back and did some work and headed out for a beer around 6pm.
Headed to the Ølhallen pub, which claims to be the oldest in Norway (don’t they all?) and it was quite busy and quaint.




That is until I checked the bill. This was for one 500ml glass.
