Points Club/Plus Status Credits Calculator

Hi all,
I have had a look around the QF site for a Status Credits calculator for SCs earned as part of the benefit of Points Club/Plus on Classic Reward flights but can't find anything.

Is anyone aware if one exists? Either official or unofficial?

I have an OWA booked with 13 flights and would like to calculate the SC earn.

Yes they are, they are all on 081 ticket stock booked through QF for flights on QF, UL, QR, BA and AY

Your Qantas Frequent Flyer membership number must be recorded in your booking before your flight departs to receive the Status Credits. The Status Credit earn rate for Points Club and Points Club Plus members on Classic Flight Rewards. Classic Flight Rewards seats are subject to capacity controls, availability is limited, and some flights may not have any Classic Flight Rewards available. Taxes, fees and carrier charges are payable to Qantas (excluding any amounts payable to third parties at the airport) in addition to the points required.

“Qantas Marketed” is industry speak for QF flight numbers.

Good luck to you, I hope you get the status credits, but the operative words are "if applicable". A Qantas marketed flight generally means one with a QF flight number. As a point of reference I returned from a OWA in February and when Points Club went live, I received backdated status credits only for the QF flights.

Only QF flight numbers on awards will earn SCs. So the answer is no for the UL, QR, BA, AY flights.

I'm assuming Qantas will eventually add it to their own SC calculator which will in turn add it to my spreadsheet through the API. I envisage it will just be another option in the 'class' drop-down.

If they haven't sorted it out by the time international travel starts opening back up I might just need to do something about it

As others have noted "QF Marketed flights" is the key here. So you will only get any SC for QF flight numbers on your OWA - which is probably not a lot out of 13 I am guessing.

Same here, I returned from a OWA in March with 2 QF sectors and only received SC for the flight that was after the point club launch date.

As a data point I received 7 SCs for a MEL-SYD sector and 15 for SYD-NAN. Both Y Classic Flight Rewards and noted as such alongside the entry in my QFF transaction listing.

Flights were QF metal and flight numbers in August 2019, points credited March 2020. Haven't seen an earning table anywhere yet either.

Is it correct that you can actually earn more status credits by flying indirect than you would by flying direct, even though the number of FF points required is the same?

For example, SYD-PER is 41.5K which earns 32 SC. But SYD-xMEL-PER is also 41.5K but earns 48 SC. Or have I misunderstood how this benefit works?
