I'm trying to book a Jetstar flight from ADL to SYD and use points by points and pay. I'd prefer straight up to go with Qantas, but the Jetstar arrival time suits me. When I go to book I get re-directed to the Jetstar website. OK, fine, but is no option for points and pay. I rang Jetstar using skype and was told to ring qantas, so I did, and predictably was left on hold for an eternity... The message while on hold said I couldn't get web prices for using a actual human to book the flight for me... I gave up on waiting and hung up. Absolutely useless.

The JQ website states you can use Qantas FF, but how? As I am not in Australia at the moment it really isn't practical to ring them...
Am I missing something obvious? Sorry, I'm really not a frequent flyer like everyone on here.

Cheers

Log into the frequent flyer area, select award flight then any seat awards, pick a JQ flight (note you can change the flight at a later stage of the process) and then get directed to JQ where you then select your flight for real and go through to a page where you can reduce the points to a standard award level, while its not the same as points + pay as the minimum points required is higher, its better value. Having said that the redirect to the JQ site does appear to be broken!
