London challenge on for next 10 hours or so.

We aren't doing too well on the team challenges. For those unaware, click on Events on main menu, and there are events for each event city. Transport the most cargo or pax to the city during the event time, and you win (bux). I am targeting Europe. Anyone else?

The way the teams challenges work it's just about the size of the team.
Teams like TouchArcade (the iDevice game news site) are massive and there's no chance of competing.
That aspect of the game needs a rework.

It's annoying that I can't fly the big planes to Australia. My whole aim was a London-Sydney direct service. Currently have to change planes in Bangkok =( Although I guess that means more SC for the little guys

I think I made a mistake opening a lot of airports in the US around San Diego...

What is the relevance of the red dot airport? They are very expensive and I have now just opened LAX but don't seem to be getting much of a different experience. Currently sat on eight planes as well...

The colour indicates the class of airport - which determines what planes can land there.
red > blue > black
Usually the higher the class the more slots and more jobs.
Except for Sydney and Melbourne, I only have red airports now - New York, London, Cairo, Delhi, Bangkok, Tokyo and Jakarta
The blacks and to a lesser extent the blues, don't seem useful once you have big planes with lots of seats to fill.

I only have planes with mostly 1 seat or 1 cargo... Might need to close a couple of airports...

Tehran, Delhi and Jakarta doing well for me.
I closed Rio as some of the planes wouldn't fly there from Lagos (what was I thinking!)

Currently we rank 24th worldwide. I'm giving up a fair bit of $$$ to especially pick up goods for Singapore...

Anyone doing the Easter Island or similar challenges (as specified in GameCenter)?

I currently have a Wallaby P Controls that I dont plan on building which people might need - can be gifted to others (not sure on the mechanism but I assume it is to team players?) Cost to gift is 1 Bux

I am looking for Kangaroo P Engine

And Anan C Engine/Body

I’ve moved 200 jobs to SIN but I’m part of a different team right now I may switch to the AFF one though. Don’t really need bux though as they’re so easy to earn with jobs. The last challenge I managed to get part of a spaceship though… so looking to complete one some time

My best flight so far has been with the Sequoia… I managed to earn just over $15k earlier this evening

Many hours in transit yesterday allowed me to be up 325 jobs to SIN I think it would be awesome if we can sneak into the top 10
