Just saw a close up photo (hence unable to see much of the aircraft) of PM Scott Morrison getting off a military grey/green aircraft which didn't look like on of the Australian RAAF grey & white B737's I know that Australia has.

Therefore, can anyone tell me what aircract our PM flew to the USA on?

TIA

I always thought that our government needed something with more range than a B737.

Just realised that being an ex-QF A330; most of us here have probably flown on Shark-One our PM's personal transport :)

And it’s called ‘Shark 1’?

Edit: So, there must be Shark 2, as well?

I keep thinking that there needs to be some sort of competition to name the new plane ........................

Gee, they could have at least tricked up the paintwork a bit - that looks very drab. A bold Aussie flag on the front at the very least, I would have thought
Or the stars of the Southern Cross on the tail (thinking of the former Ansett livery).

Given that it's a tanker, could it do CBR-DCA non-stop or is the fuel in the tank not available to the plane?

So what has happened to the B737-700 BBJ that we (the Australian public) used to fund?
