Late last week a partnership between Menzies and Plaza Premium was signed which will see 13 lounges rebranded as Plaza Premium lounge. Most of these are located in Europe with a few in Africa however closer to home it'll mean that the currently closed Manaia Lounges in Christchurch and Queenstown will be rebranded.

Apparently, work will begin immediately and all of this likely means that those lounges will possibly reopen sooner than expected with Qantas potentially returning having been using the Air New Zealand lounges since the bubble opened for travel.

These would most likely be available on Priority Pass too or am I hoping to much here? Would be nice to have lounge access in Queenstown if flying with Air NZ...

I read somewhere a month or so ago PP membership will no longer be able to access Plaza Premium Lounge (probably from mid 2021 onwards?). However, Amex Platinum Charge Card members are not affected bybthis change.
