I received an email overnight, which appears to be legit from Qantas. Saying that I had requested and paid for a replacement card, and an invoice attached.
Had my FFnumber, status class, prefix, full name, postal address.
Have called to ask Qantas around whether related to Data Breach.
Last night got told to call back this morning, was helpful, but said they needed to liaise with FF in the morning to find how this had occurred.
This morning call 1 - no info, said they will do an online form, which didn't provide any information or ease concerns, said will put me through to supervisor and then was hung up on...
Call 2 - initially said it seems to be a targeted breach of Platinum Ones, then said that they are getting info that it was an internal Qantas error, not part of a breach (great timing of this...) but dissuading me from wanting to speak to a supervisor, as this conflicting information does little to reassure around compromised details... so now on hold... on hold... on hold... may as well post and see if others are getting different information....
