Just got Plat One membership kit. It is actually a different color to Platinum (white) which surprised me, but also a nice little leather branded iPad case which was a pleasant surprise. I guess they should give us something given that the actual benefits are nothing to write home about!

If you're invited to events or need the assistance of the SST, you may change your mind about the value of the benefits.

Any chance of a photo for those of us who'll probably never get one in the mail?

Indeed. The SST is not of much use to me at least if my last 7 years of travel is any indication. And what events? Have there been any? And any in Brisbane for that matter. it's nice that they waive award assistance fees but many of us will remember that this was a Platinum benefit not too long ago. Also, free membership of Epiqure???? Aren't they currently offering that to anyone who places an order? I'll stick with Tony Sells thanks!

They should ditch Plat One and raise the status bar substantially for Plats. Maybe then I could get a seat in one of the BNE international lounges, wouldn't that be nice?
