Just noticed there's a sign-up bonus of 20,000 points available for the Citibank Platinum if you sign up at Citibank Australia - certainly worth a look for some people given the changes happening with pretty much every other card vendor at the moment anyway.
 
Fee is $250.

So that is 20K for $250.
Redeemed to SQ that is 13,300 points. About 2 cents per point.

Sign on deals in Oz are not as generous as they were a year or so back when the fee was often waived in the first year.

In the USA at present one can get a Case British Airways Card for $75 fee and get a whopping 50K on first use and another 50K after spending $2K within three months.
