My partner has just made the Plat 1 level - and now has his review date showing 2013, rather than 2012. Is this the experience of others who have become Plat 1?

If you're in the first group of P1's - you get all of your existing year + your entire next year as P1.

For many members this will mean a 2013 assessment date. Mine sure is!

Thank you for the info. Quite a bonus, in fact, if your review date is late in the year. The second section of his Summary page is actually showing status as Platinum, although the heading shows Plat 1.

If I ever make it. I will let you know

Well I must say I am VERY disappointed I didn't make P1 - if it had been a month either way I would have made it, and as it stood, I had over 3000 QF metal SC's in the nominated period (3350 to be exact) , but fell short of the 3600 due to an extended family holiday...which I would make all levels in a week and a half!

As one who has spent a lot of time on QF metal, NOT getting the status bump does give me pause to just maintain WP this year and look to other programmes rather than strive for P1 (certainly now I'll earn my comped Plat Virgin card - until now I was thinking I'd use it this year and let it roll out, but now...)

Perhaps sounds petulant, but so much time on QF planes in the last 12 months I do actually feel hard done by! Anyone else in my situation?

The required number of points is 3600 and you didn't get that many. How can you feel hard done by ? The limits are black and white and everyone will have a story about just falling short of some level.

.........maybe the double SC offers might make some feel aggrieved. FF's like MJW27 who racked up 3350 SC's on QF metal might feel mighty hard done by when it is possible to reach P1 with 1350 SC's on QF metal and 450 SC's on OW metal.

I dont think DSC counts for OW airlines so will have to be 1350 QF and 900 OW :) Ive racked up 200SC. 5 months to go to qualify!!
