I think it's time some US Northeastern states stop living in constant "winter denial" and spend some money on real snow removal. Airports like YUL spend a fortune on snow removal teams and it works! The problem is that aircraft on the tarmac in YUL have nowhere to go because the Americans are in winter denial and their airports are struggling. Rant over....
