Fiji Airways has unveilled a new uniform to go with the airline's new name, new planes and new just-about-everything-else, following its overnight transition from the old Air Pacific.

Looks good to me!

Very nice with the matching cushions and blankets.

Agree the new uniforms look very smart. Also like the changes made to the 737 as shown at bottom of the article. Is there any reason why FJ isn't a member of Oneworld considering links to QF and AA? Would surely open more doors for them particularly with domestic Aus and US connections?

I know there is the political situation and QF investment issues, but does QF really think JQ can compete with what FJ are now throwing into NAN with the 330?

Joining oneworld would have costs that FJ may not be willing to pay. Also, they already:

  • Codeshare with QF on Aus-NAN, NAN-LAX, and NAN-AKL routes and receive QF domestic feed;
  • Codeshare with NZ and receive NZ domestic feed;
  • Codeshare with AA on NAN-LAX and receive AA feed from the US; and
  • Codeshare with CX on NAN-HKG.

So I'm not sure how much more they can gain from joining oneworld.
