Whatever I do, Philippine Airlines' Mabuhay Miles site will not let me log in with a (new) password.

It wants a password with upper and lower case alphanumeric characters including at least one 'special character' such as !@$

It keeps claiming that my 'password is weak' even when I try to meet the above criteria.

Very frustrating. Has anyone else had the same difficulty? Have you solved it?

Perhaps try setting a stronger password by adding more special characters/numbers/mix of uppercase & lowercase?

I tried a few and ended up with !Arty01 working (now changed)

Rules:

1. Must have 5-8 characters.
2. Must contain alpha-numeric characters.
3. Must use upper and lower cases for letters.
4. Must contain a special character such as: @, #, %, ^, &, *, (, ), _, +, =, /, ?, <, > (Except for $).

So, 5-8 characters: 7 = tick
Alphanumeric: tick
Upper and lower case: tick
Special character: ! = tick

Thank you Mattg, and Guvner (great username!) Most helpful, because I had tried something similar in reverse order and it did not work. Kind of both of you.

By calling in at the PR Mabuhay Miles service centre in Makati, Metro Manila, I had a helpful young chap solve the problems.

These passwords remain too complex. There's a middle ground between 'complexity' and 'making it easy to be hacked': this FF program log in requirement has yet to find that middle ground.
