Philippine Airlines A350-1000s with 10-abreast Economy

Philippine Airlines is the full service carrier to install 3-4-3 seating on the A350, with a frankly terrible 16.5 inches of seat width. The J looks good though, and PE looks fine.

They should be able to get to 17 inches if they're built to the New Production Standard (which I thought they all are now, so happy to be corrected) - so this is extra confusing.

But man, are we going to see many full-service airlines chuck 10-abreast on the A350 a la the 777...

 
Somewhat disconcertingly the blurb at the link says….

“we are opening our doors wider to welcome you, setting a new standard of comfort

Despite narrower seats and purgatory levels of discomfort.
