Pets in the Cabin - Coming soon on Virgin Australia

They said they don't want to be in a plane that has potentially had an animal in it. They also said they have stopped flying VA and SQ to avoid being on a plane that has potentially had an animal in it.
I'm just pointing out the fallacy of the logic.

All domestic aircraft have potentially had an animal in the cabin.

That fact is not change by grooming, or lack of grooming, of the animal. It is not changed by the training and behaviour. The fact that all aircraft have potentially had an animal in the cabin is absolutely not a denial of their allegy. Just saying that since they're most likely already sat in an aircraft after an animal has been in it, the allegy justification for their ban on VA/SQ isn't that convincing.

Perhaps you might look up the meaning of disingenuos. Personally, I have a view about being called dishonest based on two strawmen.

Additional, as far as the poster has stopped flying VA because of the risk of hair being left behind. I'd suggest virgin policy about carriage of animals in the cabin is relevant to your grooming strawman.

The crux of my post was an occasional perhaps
once a month carriage of a fully trained service animal is not in the same ballpark for allergy risk and exposure factor as up to 5 pets unfamiliar / untrained for the circumstance on every flight every day on certain sectors on VA.

As I said all the pets I've seen onboard have been very well behaved . Framing it as unfamiliar and/or untrained is inaccurate

Surprised to hear that pets being carried are prepared and familiar / unfazed with the noises and motions of a plane flight while at the same time confined to a small container under an airline seat.

What is so surprising about this?

Lets just say none of my neighbours pets could have been on those flights with well behaved non yappy pets
And I’m sure if the dog were barking on the plane, the owner would behave just as they do on the ground....gaslighting you, pretending nothing is wrong and insisting that their dog is perfectly well behaved...

That being said I wonder what the crew would do if there was a noisy dog? Are there sedatives that can be given to them? A crying baby is one thing, but a yapping dog is on another level of annoyance if in very close proximity.

I guess also set all pet owners would have had a vet visit at some time. Generally pets in crates are pretty quiet, even in very unfamiliar environments.

If your pet is particularly adverse to travelling in a crate and makes a lot of noise, you’re probably unlikely to be taking them in a plane.

Out of hundreds of flights in the USA, and more in Europe, never hear a dog barking in the cabin.

and the crux of my reply to the other post was the idea of avoiding an aircraft that might have had an animal on it, once, ever.
your post seems to be trying to deminish and dismiss the abolute-ism of the poster.
I don't agree.

is that why your neighbours don't fly with their pets in the cabin?
