Flying ADL-PER-FCO next week and there’s over a five hour layover in PER. QF is suggesting the domestic business lounge for me but would the intl transit lounge be a better option? Flying J.

Given your itinerary you would be arriving from Adelaide in the domestic terminal. So in theory there would be no harm in you accessing the Qantas business lounge at Perth with your boarding passes when you land in Perth. Have a look, and see what you think. Then when you are ready you can follow the signs for the Perth international transit area, clear security and emmigration there and use the transit lounge. Remember, once you enter the Perth international transit area you can't just head back to the domestic terminal.

Given the five hour bracket, assuming no delays, you could even sneak a look at the domestic Qantas Club as well.

Why not try all three and report back which has the best showers? 😂

Unless you like hi-vis, the Int lounge will be the nicest….
I think this characterization of Western Australians is foul. Not every WA resident works in a mine. Indeed, on my last trip to the QF Club at PER I only counted two people in hi-vis.

No, that’s why 1000s of FIFO workers come from interstate and create a lot of QF and VA SG and WPs in the process. All who pass through PER to/from wherever.

Obviously depends on the time and day you are there but it can be packed to the rafters with hi-vis
Agree - I think the majority of the FIFO flights are early-mid morning, and late afternoon..
