12min frequency matches the train.

Route 292 is a circular service between Redcliffe Station, Perth Airport T3/T4, with services every 12 minutes during peak

Is that station actually part of T1 or under the structure to the left of the tower connected by the walkway? If the latter, seems like a missed opportunity!

"It'll service approximately 80 to 85 per cent of flights."

I wonder what that's based on given it doesn't service any QF flights.

Under the structure to the left of the tower.
Remember it's planned for Qantas to move to a terminal that will fill up the other half of the loop.

Or one could just get the No. 40 bus...

Wow it looks like it is happening. The WA transport minister thought the cost over run could be an insurance claim. I thought fat chance…..

Delays in Perth due to tunneling construction issues because of generally unsuitable soil.
That said, I’m still not convinced it’s as good as it’s made out to be, particularly servicing T3 and T4. The nearest station to them is Redcliffe, which is more than a kilometre away and a long walk which needs to cross a 6 lane freeway. You would expect there will be a shuttle bus running that route, but still a lot of hopping on and off.

Once you get to the city, it’s a long walk or a Uber ride to most of the hotels. For the FIFOs it's just another connection for them from any suburban line they have to use.

Well the airport master plan has T3 and T4 relocating eventually. The rail line was planned well before Qantas had their tantrum.

Distance to the hotels may be a problem. I'm not super convinced but with that said it has now given that side of the city and areas close to Kalamunda a rail connection to the city so that benefit shouldn't be overlooked.

Not sure about a freeway.

But there is a new Perth Bus Route 292 (essentially a shuttle loop) between Redcliffe and T3/T4 that's running every 12min (same frequency as the train).

So given Perths zonal fare system will be the same price to any of the terminals.

Redcliffe Station and T3/T4 are all on the same side of the 'Freeway' (Tonkin Highway).

Sure - but as I recall the building of the second runway was going to commence this year? I haven’t heard a mention of that project for goodness knows how long…
