Looks like the BB code view is toggled to "on". You should be able to tap the 3 dots (circled in red in my screenshot below) and then tap the square brackets (i.e. [ ]) and it should toggle BB code to "off" and the revert the view to what you're used to seeing it.

My earlier tongue-in-cheek response aside, I have to say I'm sadly seeing no reduction in the frequency of error messages.
