Yes the function to see what a quoted post is, hasn't been fixed either.

Yep, this has been passed on a few weeks ago, although a fix is seemingly more difficult than expected.

Please report any further issues in this thread, as it helps us reproduce and fix as best we can!

I think it’s a Safari thing.

Seems to working fine with Chrome and Firefox but flaky with safari.

I have a “Favourites” bookmark for AFF in Safari. When I click on that 50% of the time I get the can’t load page error…

No. Just tried out chrome and got this when trying to see the original comment that someone had reposted.

Maybe the latest update to iOS or maybe AFF has fixed something, but the need to refresh has reduced massively in the last 24hrs or so.

Not totally gone but a huge improvement to previous experience for the last few weeks.

My iPhone has been behaving its self for this month despite using Safari , using a VPN and not turning off my ad blockers.
However a new bugbear on my phone.. Starting off new threads with a summary. Also on old threads inactive for a long time. Once it comes up I can’t get rid of it so a few TRs going unread.
Doesn’t happen on my computer though.

There are two main issues. One is a bad URL and affecting all platforms, that is the one you indicate. See post 80.

The other issue is an apparent cloudfare related one affecting those using iDevices. See posts 73+ ...

It's not getting better. Sometimes now I just get a completely blank page. Likes it is still loading but with nothing. I can't select the circle arrow to reload as it isn't there at this stage. Just an X. So then back to original and start again. Then get the other message. Third time lucky. Today and yesterday the Reaction selection is acting weird. A new issue.

Probably not going to change all my IT requirements just because the AFF page is having issues. Maybe AFF could sort something out at their end. It seems you aren't having issues on android so maybe you can safely exit this thread and not miss anything important for you. .

I've been getting the CloudFlare confirmation on and off for a few days. Sometimes it gets stuck

Just getting CloudFlare confirmation before proceeding is the new normal and you will need to get used to it for now.

With AI going gangbusters, the information analyzed and presented has to come from somewhere.

These days millions of 'bots' are trawling the internet gathering content. CloudFare is being used by thousands of websites including AFF and Flyertalk to protect their servers from being overloaded.

I saw a friend comment recently that their private server had been hit by bots no less than 14000 times in a day. This included Google and Bing 'bots'.

Im monitoring this thread because last time AFF tried to fix this coughple problem it broke the site for everyone.

Android and windows know how to play nice with cloudfare, the fruit company deliberately causes issues to bully other tech companies to do what they want and force those trapped in their ecosystem to upgrade hardware more frequently.

I never see that screen. I get a variety of issues. A completely blank page with the X where the circle thing to reload is. So I can't reload but have to cancel. Then there's the human check thing that's random. Then there's the Page not found when clicking on a quoted post. All three today. Weirdly my first time today I got in fine and started celebrating. A fourth I just got. Page not found that happens instead of the blank X page. Those two alternate.
