Hi

Apologies firstly if I've posted in the wrong thread, still new to this. I'm looking at flight options for PER-YYZ return, approx dates of 27 Aug - 27 Sep 2017.

I'm guessing it's far too late to look for points upgrades to J class (and I only have 97,000 Amex ascent points anyway, and a measily 15,000 Emirates Skywards points), but I'm wondering if there's other options I haven't considered/don't have access to. I have $600 worth of travel credits with Amex which I could put towards a flight but I'm not finding anything particularly cheap there, at least not with anyone I'd want to fly with!

Hate layovers and also have a bad neck and shoulder, so I've previously flown short layover 1 stops with Cathay and Emirates, but willing to consider some alternatives as it seems I may have to. Usually I'd have booked further in advance, but organising time off this year was harder than usual so I've got much less time than I'd like to find a decent fare. :(

I turn 30 on Sep 26 and I'd love to be in Canada for that, however I must be back at work on Oct 2, so it doesn't give me much wiggle room - flying Y I'll definitely need a couple days to recuperate!

Any ideas/thoughts/suggestions muchly appreciated, TIA.

PER-YYZ via SYD, LAX and JFK...back via DFW and SYD on those dates with QF and AA... $1593 on skyscanner...

Yes..the one stop on CX is $500 more....

Jeez...PER seems to make it harder to find ...different options...

We did that same trip last year and used CX as being the most quickest and most convenient/cheapest out of Perth when we booked - but we flew in J. Have you had a look at ETIHAD as they do a one stop flight Perth/Toronto via Abu Dhabi - of course the Perth leg is in an 787 so you do have the seat problem if in Y.
