I am not sure if this is in the right section. If not please feel free to move.

I am trying to calcuate the FF pts that I will earn on my next trip. The QF points calculator says that the PER-SIN flights are operated by Jet* and not QF.

I know that QF fly to SIN and that it is on QF metal. Is this just an anomoly on the buggy QF site or are there changes afoot to move this route to jet*? If so I will def not be flying the roo to Europe.

According to my calculation on Mileage monkey the FF earn would be 2433 for this flight. Is this correct?

It's a bug in the points earning calculator.
You will get 2429 points plus any applicable status bonus.

Confirm Sickeningthud's comments, 2429pts for PER-SIN vv.

If you ever get stuck with QF's website calculator, I strongly suggest grabbing my QFF spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet handles more complex calculations, handles loyalty bonus calculations and status changes that occur during a block of flights.

Definitely a bug in the system - I emailed QF about a month ago as it was annoying me greatly and I was starting to get paranoid about them changing all the PER-SIN to JQ. God forbid!! They kindly informed me that they had been able to replicate the error (translate: we thought you were just a moron but maybe we stuffed up after all) and that they would get the computer people to fix the problem. Clearly not a quick fix

I noticed this a month ago after booking a SIN-PER QF flight number on the website. Almost filled my pants!! Went straight to view my booking to make sure I hadn't just booked a "Qantas" flight operated by JQ, thankfully it says it is QF operated so just a bug as others have mentioned.

Thanks everyone, most helpful.

@thewinchester, I have downloaded the spreadsheet, impressive stuff. Will use this from now on.
