Probably one of the smallest openings I have read about! 32 rooms, although there are 64 rooms at the Mantra which is colocated. Have stayed a number of times at the Mantra, mostly when it was Mercure branded, not a bad option in a town without many although it’s not central.

Yeah, stayed a couple times when it was a Mercure. Still have the Sports club members card somewhere too. Mrs Jase won enough on the pokies there to cover the accomodation and dinner costs

Place has gone a little down hill of late. The Peppers rooms fill the first level of what used to be a car park. You now need to pay extra for “security parking”. Welcome drinks are now at the pool bar and not in the lounge/club area.

Service from checkin to checkout was friendly but flawed eg “would you like undercover parking” me: “yes please, I have an EV to charge”, given keys that didn’t activate gate grrrr
