Curious about when u book a PE fare for example to LAX via BNE with virgin, which seat would u get on the domestic leg. Would it be J or Y? Also another similar question but regarding SC and points earn on the domestic leg.

Would it book into a flexible economy fare class though? Meaning a higher SC earn and fewer points to upgrade?

On the few times I have booked long-haul PE (on BA and QF), domestic legs were booked in Y or B class. This was 6-7 years ago though.

This question is about VA though. I assume it would be the same but have never tried it.

Would be very interesting to know for future reference and if it does book into the Freedom fare can you then use one of your complimentary upgrades on it
