EK lounges at SIN and AKL feature JD

All EK lounges feature JD including onboard service - but that is not Bourbon - it is straight whiskey - and I can't stand it. JB is ok, but prefer MCK.

Fair enough, the Americans define it as Bourbon in their Fair Trade Agreement which is good enough for me.

So its a multi Trip Report, then? Meals, lounges, comments on service .... Jolly good.

Lounges are what we all live for isn't it? Personally I love to have an idea if a lounge is up to scratch or not before I go to either have a strategy to deal with, or choose another routing to avoid. On that note, I hated the EK216 LAX-DXB on that counted, as EK don't have a LAX lounge and use the Skyteam lounge in LAX, which was very below what one would expect flying EK. The 2 minute noodles on offer was about the best food option they had of about 4. I probably wouldn't fly out of LAX with EK on the count of the poor lounge options on offer and consider DFW.
