I think if you walked around the F cabin in boxers you'd get in trouble, no matter if that's what you usually wear. I understand the need to be comfortable, but you're in public essentially... you shouldn't disrobe in full view! I have seen QF Y pax who bring PJ's with them, that seems like a far more acceptable thing than this, if true.
