Whichever way it is, I hope he is now receiving the assistance that he needs.

Yep but any type of cough soft or hard core is not right in public.

I sat next to a guy who had a picture mag on a flight and read it..

why do people feel they need to do these things... at all?
True but I guess it is hard to control what people do behind closed doors.

I remember sitting at the desktops in SYD T2 Qantas Lounge and this bloke next to me started reading his emails. With every email there was some attachement with a nude photo. I was actually surprised he was doing this in public but it continued on and on.

Now it was late at night and luckily no children around but on my way out I had a quite word to the lounge staff. Not sure if they did anything about it but people really need to focus at all times and remember that there are others around who may feel offended.

Well these days, you can never overestimate how tasteless some people may be, but pretty stupid to something totally illegal in public...

Sounds like the guy didn't have a lot of grey matter going for him...

There will be a psych condition attached - either something like "I want to be caught", or "I can't be caught - I'm invincible" or stuff like that. I'm no professional, but people have strange ways of justifying things they do.
