Partner Gold, renewal question?

Got partner gold in Feb this year. My reassessment date was brought into line with my Dad's when this happened. However courtesy to a DSC offer a couple of days before the company booked him two J trips to the USA! and several DOM trips.

He has now earnt partner gold again. (6 months in...) If he gives it to me will QF add it on, so that i effectively get 2 years SG? (Till Feb 2014?)

Or will my reassessment date change again to the end of August, and cancel out the current partner gold and give me 12 months from now?

**Also on another note, does QF not put a note as too how many more SC's you need to reach WP1? Like it does when you have re-qualified for WP and on your way to extra benefits?

You will get it for another full year, until Feb 2014.

No, you don't get a SCs needed to get WP1 countdown. Well, I didn't anyway.
