I've done some digging around but only seem to have found examples for this being offered ex-FRA and other Euro ports on QR.

Am flying MEL-BRU (via DOH; 2 separate flight numbers each way) and was hoping to upgrade for cash at check-in in MEL and possibly BRU depending on cost.

Anyone have any experience with QR? I've read good things about them, but this seems to be something not many people have reported (based on them not having a large presence in AU I guess).
