OWA clarification on Alaska and Fiji Airlines

Hi everyone,
Just joined AFF and first ever post on this forum! I am also planning for RTW flight for 3 pax sometime around June/July next year. To make my life easier, I got the seats.aero subscription already and so far what I have realised is that some of the flight available won't pass the test with Qantas RTW classic reward seat. Is there anyone (I am sure there's quite a few experience point hackers here ) who can confirm whether an Airline like 'Alaska airline' be eligible for one leg of the flight if they have a Conder flight "thats starts with DE code' example 'DE2016'. Also, has anyone tried to book a flight from MEL - LAX (Fiji airlines flights available through AA) for next year in June? Its showing as available on Seats.aero but no sign on qantas multi-city search page. Does that mean, Fiji airlines is still a no-go for the time being? Thanks

Welcome, you'll probably find much useful information in the thread below. if you haven't seen it yet.

Question 1 - If the operating carrier is not a member of Oneworld Alliance then not eligible. Wholly owned subsiduaries like American Eagle are ok.

Question 2 - I can see reward availability on QF multi city search MEL-LAX for June for 3 pax. Nearly all Economy however. FJ flights are still being deemed as ineligible for OWA though.
