Posting this from lounge. It seems it is a combined OW lounge run by KA/CX.Also seems to be only a combined J/F lounge. However it is set up like the HKG CX lounges-even a long bar.15 computers for use here.Dim sum available and the wine is out at 10am though the bar is not manned.
Great views over the airport and it seems far better than previous reviews of PVG lounges.
Checkin was a shambles but CX only moved here on 29/4.

Thanks drron - great news - just need to get back to Shanghai to sample it ;)

--- Ignore -- was confusing PVG with PEK ----
Certainly sounds much better than the old one
(and T2 is the old terminal, new one is T3)

The old T2 lounge had no windows, only a couple of TVs, although did have some rather nice massage chairs.

Although given your comment 'CX only moved here 29/4), are you actually referring to the brand new T3 terminal ??

T1 was the first terminal to open on the new Pudong site.

T2 has only recently opened as of March this year, although it has been "built" for some time.

You may be confusing PVG with PEK?

Definitely terminal2 at PVG.T3 is scheduled to be built and open by 5/10.
Turned out the long bar isnt.Just meant to look like it but sitting there a great view of aircraft movements as well as a constant stream of shipping as in boats.
CX only moved here last week.QF and others had moved ~1/12 ago.
Reasonable wines too.French white plus a burgundy as well as a Margaret river Chardy and Napa Valley shiraz.
