I know this has been discussed before but I just can’t find any recent definitive guidance.
If a person deliberately books A to C via B to take advantage of the extra SCin domestic J and then at check in suggests going on the direct A to C flight, even if only economy is available, would one still qualify for original routing credits?
Or are check in staff even likely to allow this?
I have tried previously when on award seat with no joy purely to save time. ( direct not being available at booking).
However I am wondering if paid J makes a difference?
I don’t think I have actually purchased J before but given the current DSC situation and my future plans being a bit unknown this works for me this time.
Thankyou
