Opinions on Fiji Airways ?

Flew Fiji airlines BNE - NAN a few days ago. We had booked a cheap ticket in Y but got to the airport for the midnight flight and thought, we are really tired and would love to sleep & so asked about buying an upgrade. AUD $350 per person, one way. We decided to do it since had paid only $350 for the cheap Y ticket.
In the end we thought it was worth it, for the midnight flight it allowed us to get 3 hours sleep which made all the difference for the following day.
We went straight to sleep as soon as the seatbelt sign went off, so didn't sample the meal and didn't get any amenity kit, I'm assuming they only give those on longer flights
Overall, I was very happy with FJ

Oh no I've just checked my Qantas account and there are only 20 status credits (BNE-NAN) and Y points.
I thought by paying cash for the upgrade to J that it should mean J status credits and J points???
If you pay at the airport is it different? Maybe it has something to do with the cheap Y ticket I upgraded from?
Shall I wait a few days and see if it corrects itself or will I have to fill in a missing points claim

No j points or SCs on paid upgrades generally, on QF not any other airline I have experienced

Try emailing boarding passes to the QFF email address. Don't mention the word upgrade or even paid upgrade. You might get lucky.

I have not flown on the new A330 yet, thats booked for July

I have just booked 2 x J seats NAN-LAX for Oct, so I would be interested in your experience and opinion
