Does anyone know what EST03 means as the error code why you can't check in online
I found this old thread:
http://www.australianfrequentflyer....rogram/qantas-online-checkin-est03-51152.html
It suggests that a failed ESTA validation is the cause.
I've looked and looked in my booking but can't find a place to let Qantas know our ESTA numbers - am I missing something?
Is there anything else I can try?
I'm swamped at work, you know what it's like on the last day before holidays and don't have time for half an hour on the phone :)

In case it is relevant, we are flying on J point redemptions booked 12 months ago.

Thanks

Try the desktop (full site) version of Qantas' Manage My Booking. There is a section near the top of the page after that opens where you enter key passenger information for USA travel...

Cheers,
Matt.

There's not an ESTA number to put in per se (I know they have an application code thingy but that's different). as long as your passport number is in there that's all you need, as the PP# is the key.

I've never heard of an ESTA error like that. That's a bit of a worry. Why not call QF and enquire - if there IS an issue you'd prob want to know sooner rather than at the airport imho. (it may not take 30min)

good luck.

yep "Enter APIS Information" is what you need.

normally if it's not filled in you get a big message when you go to MNB that it needs to be done.

Thanks everyone, yes I looked in the APIS section, nowhere to put ESTA in there, only the redress number.
I've done all that info and double checked it, so looks like I will have to call them unless there are any other ideas :(
Thanks for your help

OK, well that wasn't as bad as I thought, incredibly good phone service from Qantas, very quick to answer
They said it is quite common and yes it is due to something not linking between ESTA and Qantas.
Nothing they or I can do now to fix it, but shouldn't be a problem checking in at the airport tomorrow
Hopefully this will help someone else if they get a similar error message in the future
